The Arkansas Basketball team (27-8) looks to upset the Gonzaga Bulldogs (26-3) in the Sweet Sixteen round of the 2022 NCAA Men’s March Madness tournament tonight in an epic match-up between two powerhouse basketball teams.
This isn’t the first time these two teams have met, but the second. The first time these two teams met was in 2013 in Hawaii at the annual Maui Invitational tournament. Gonzaga won that game 91-81.
The Razorbacks will be facing one of the most talented teams in the country. Gonzaga ranks No.1 in the country in points scored per game (87.8 ppg) and No. 1 in field goal percentage (52.6%).
They are also ranked in the Top-5 in the country in rebounds per game, assists per game and blocks per game.
The Razorbacks are going to have an uphill battle in unseating arguably the best team in this tournament and many experts’ pick to win the national championship.
Arkansas has defeated Vermont and New Mexico State in rounds one and two of the tournament. Gonzaga has defeated Georgia State and Memphis in rounds one and two of the March Madness tournament.

Arkansas is scheduled to tip-off at 6:00 p.m. CT on March 24.
