Harry’s razors terminated its advertising partnership with The Daily Wire’s The Michael Knowles Show ostensibly after one Twitter user complained to the company about a segment on the show.
“Harry’s makes great razors. That’s why we’ve been proud to advertise them for years,” said the show's executive producer and Daily Wire co-founder Jeremy Boreing on Twitter.
“We know @harrys doesn’t share our values. Who cares? Economic decisions shouldn’t be political decisions,” Boreing continued. “But now Harry’s has decided to declare that conservatives don’t deserve great razors.”

Boreing was responding to a tweet from Harry’s Twitter account, which announced it was cutting ties with the show.

“Thanks for bringing this up. We condemn the views in this video, which are inexcusable & at odds with our longtime support of the LGBTQ+ community,” Harry’s said in the tweet. “We've ended our relationship with this show & are looking into our sponsorships to prevent any values misalignment going forward.”
Harry’s announcement comes in response to a Twitter user who said that the show hosted Dr. Joseph Nicolosi Jr., whom the user accused of “spreading homophobic and transphobic content” by equating “being trans to having schizophrenia.”
“It is wrong that Harry’s or anyone sponsors this vile content,” the user said.
The clip apparently at odds with Harry’s values features Knowles and Nicolosi discussing the treatments Nicolosi uses at the Reintegrative Therapy Association for patients who wish to change their behavior from homosexual to heterosexual tendencies.
At one point during the segment, Nicolosi pointed to a study that showed some people seeking the treatment he offers have conditions that overlap with depression and schizophrenia.
Boreing also took aim at Harry’s for caving to “woke Twitter accounts” and trying to be seen as “ideological pure.”
“I mean, I’m sure they’ll still take your money, but they don’t want to be SEEN taking it by woke Twitter accounts with 2 - yes, 2 - followers,” Boreing said. “What matters to Harry’s is being seen by the left as ideologically pure.”
Boreing went on to say that Harry’s had always known the show was conservative, pointing out that the clip in question was from 2019.
“Of course, Harry’s has always known our values. Heck, the clip they’re 'mad' about is from 2019,” Boreing said. “All that happened here is they got caught - caught committing the ‘inexcusable’ sin of selling good products to good people with different political values. That’s where we are.”

Boreing concluded by blasting cancel culture, saying that “healthy societies” do not base every association on sharing a single opinion.
“Ours is not a healthy society. Hollywood, the media, the academy, and now Harry’s Razors all want you to know you are not welcome in their world,” Boreing said. “Believe them.”
